Clancy was baptized at Highland Presbyterian Church by the same pastor who married Courtney and Todd...Dr. Ernie Johnson.

Clancy and Gigi
Clancy got to meet so many people on this trip, but none more important than his great-grandmother Mary Joyce. His name comes from an ancestor way back on Gigi's side of the family.

Clancy's first airplane ride
Clancy did great on his first trip on an airplane; he slept the entire time! After arriving in Raleigh mom made sure he was bundled up for the cold weather. The 1 hour 15 minute car ride to Fayetteville took 2 1/2 hours as we stopped 3 times for bathroom breaks, Bojangles, and Clancy's feeding.

Clancy's 3 month birthday
Clancy is getting much stronger and is able to hold his head up and even sit up straight now. He is excited for our big trip to North Carolina next week!

Clancy is 2 months old!
We had a big day to celebrate Clancy's two month birthday. First, we attended the squadron kid's Halloween party. He slept through most of it, but mom and dad made sure to eat plenty of candy for him. Then we came home and walked to our neighborhood Octoberfest Block Party with our friends Matt and Jennifer McKerring, and their son Connor. It was a great day.

The latest happenings
A lot has been happening in Clancy's life since his 1 month birthday! First, G-daddy came to visit. Then Courtney and Clancy met Todd in San Antonio on a work-related trip for a weekend; his first trip out of town and he did great! Mom was able to get a much-needed massage, so Clancy and dad spent some time bonding (that is code for watching college football at a sports bar). We had some work done on the house so all of us (plus Jocko of course) slept in the guest house for a few days. Pretty close quarters, but we did okay. The weather is starting to cool off in South Texas, so we've had some nice runs with Clancy in his jogger (he takes full advantage of the opportunity to nap). This weekend Clancy and dad are going to catch a hockey game so mom can take a break and go out to dinner with some friends.

A day in the life of CJ
Just some funny faces. He's had a few smiles, but nothing caught on tape just yet.
After a long day of playing with mom, Clancy is stretched out for a nap. It's really easy to see how big he has gotten since he came into the world so small. He's on track to double his birth weight before his 2 month birthday!
